Anti-Mücken-Radio

Nachdem heute mal wieder ein Artikel über eine Radiostation in der Süddeutschen Zeitung abgedruckt wurde, die neben ihrem Audio-Signal noch einen Frequenzton gegen Mücken mitsendet, muss ich mich hier mal zu Wort melden. In diesem Fall handelt es sich um den österreichischen Sender KRONEHIT, der diese Technologie angeblich anwendet. Einen, für den Menschen nicht hörbaren Frequenzton, wird mitgesendet und soll die Mücken im Radius von 5m vertreiben. Das selbe Gefühl hatte ich die letzten Tage auf 6380 kHz, wo jeden Abend eine Station, meist aus Holland, zu hören ist. Leider ist diese Frequenz immer durch Utility gestört. Ich kann deshalb nicht verstehen, warum man diese Frequenz überhaupt benutzt. Undefinierbare Töne machen den Empfang selten zum Vergnügen. Also: Kontrollempfänger anschalten, liebe Holländer und Fenster zu und Licht aus!

Überraschung des Abends war eindeutig Radio Hamamelis/Radio Brigitte. Lang nicht mehr gehört und auch nicht ganz einfach, neben den Utility-Störungen herauzuhören. Also, dann mal bis bald Mr. Frans van Rompay.

Yesterday evening I did enjoy the program of Radio Hamamelis/Brigitte. Think it was 10 years ago I could listen to the voice of Frans van Rompay via shortwave last time. Later the details of the logs from yesterday.

Thanks for all comments here on the blog and via email and phone calls for our yesterdays show on 48mtrs. The transmitter was running well, the good old COMMANDO rig, but conditions were very bad. We will have a try within the next week, also on weekdays. Not on the overcrowded weekend, were dutch station boom in and there will be no place between them and the official station from Asia and Africa. Greetings, DJ Dipol

back from SUMMERMEETING 2009

After being back from SUMMERMEETING 2009 on the dutch/belgium border I first have to thank all people who have organised again this nice meeting. Thanks especially to  the B. family for using its ground, for spending a lot of time to prepare and to rebuild all the things. Thanks for the people behind the bar for lekker beer and coffie and to all the others.

What did we learn from this meeting:

1.  All Dxers and operators in the english FR-scene are called "Paul"

2. Also a woman behind the mic is not impossible -->>> e.g. Lea of RADIO LEA

3.  Dont built up your tent next to the Hahn (cock)

4. Its not impossible to drink 20 beers or more a day.
